Mr. Frederick is the acting Dean of the Division of Business at Rust College and has previous academic experience on the high school level teaching economics. While serving as the Dean of the Division of Business he has added additional programs in accounting and marketing to the division. He has earned degrees in Management, Business Administration, and Economic along with an MBA from the University of Memphis in Management and has completed 40 hours of online education from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Frederick has also completed the five classes associated with a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation.

Along with his other duties at Rust College, he has taught classes in all areas of management and writing: Risk Management, Small Business Management, Human Resource Management, Retail Management, Organizational Theory and Behavior, Business Ethics, Research Writing, and Business Communications. He has served the community and church he and his family attend by offering support in the areas of Financial Literary, Debt Control, and helping individuals reenter the workforce. Mr. Frederick has worked in VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program providing financial literacy training to the community. Additionally, Mr. Frederick served as a baseball and softball umpire for 30 plus years and a football official for ten years.

Mr. Frederick and his wife, Phyllis, live in Memphis, Tn. and attend Highland Church of Christ. They have two daughters, Candace (a schoolteacher with the Memphis City School system) and Lisa who works in a real-estate attorney’s office. Candace is a University of Memphis graduate with a degree in teaching, and Lisa has a degree in Business Administration from Rust College.

Mr. Worthy is the Chair of the Business Administration Department and an Assistant Professor of Accounting. He enrolled in Olive Harvey Jr. College, earning an AA in accounting. At Chicago State University, he earned a B.S. in accounting and earned his Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certificate where he became a licensed practitioner. Later he earned his Master of Science Degree in Accounting. Mr. Worthy has pervious teaching experience in the high school level as a licensed math teacher in the Mississippi Public Schools before coming to Rust College.

While serving as the Chair of the Business Administration Department, Mr. Worthy also teaches all accounting classes, Business Finance, Math for Business, and Financial Literacy. Mr. Worthy has worked for the IRS and in private practice for more than 20 years. Additionally, he has held different executive positions in the health industry and other nonprofits. As a CPA, Mr. Worthy has worked with students in VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program and currently provides free tax services to Rust College students.

Mr. Worthy and his wife live in Olive Branch, Ms. He has five children, Alfie, Patrick, Quinton, Malcom, and Amanda. Malcom is a Business Administration graduate of Rust College. He is rooted in the love of family is a God-fearing Christian. These two fundamental beliefs have propelled him toward his career and accomplishments. I have five children, Alfie, Patrick, Quinton, Malcolm, and Amanda. Mr. Worthy is an active member of Brown Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi.

Dr. Henley is the Assistant Professor of Marketing and Global Supply Chain management in the Division of Business at Rust College. Before coming to Rust College, he served as the Data Reporting Coordinator or the FedEx Corporation where he developed and provided data charts and graphs for upper-level managers. Additionally, he served as a Special Projects Coordinator for the Belz Corporation, and worked as an entrepreneur in spa product development and market testing while working for the Strategic Master Redevelopment Plan for Hot Springs National Park.

Dr. Henley currently teaches all Economics, Math for Business, and all Marketing classes. He is the author of six Peer Reviewed Journal publications covering various topics in the field of education and marketing. Dr. Henley has previous teaching experience from the University of Memphis where he earned his Ph.D. and MBA degrees. He also holds a BS degree in Biology/History for Belhaven College/Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. Dr. Henley is a resident of Holley Springs, MS.

Mr. Cooper currently serves as the Chair or the Marketing and Global Supply Chain Department at Rust College. He is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Information systems. He holds a BS from Louisiana State University along with an MBA Centenary College in Shreveport, LA, along with additional graduate work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Grambling State University and Texas A&M in Texarkana. Mr. Cooper has previous teaching experience at Jarvis Christian College, Grambling State University, Texas A&M University, and Northwestern State University.

Mr. Cooper has worked in the political field with the City of Shreveport, LA., and as a licensed Real Estate Agent. He also is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). Mr. Cooper also has experience in government and economic development. He currently teaches Production Operations Management, Basic Computer Concepts, Information Systems I, Workforce Diversity Management, and Financial Literary at Rust College. Mr. Cooper resides in Shreveport, LA., during the summer and South Haven, MS., during the academic year.

Mrs. Verge serves as the Special Assistant to the Rust College Division of Business and is dedicated to higher education and professional financial services with more than 20 years of combined experience in student services, lending, and mortgage banking. She has over 10 years of experience in higher education and an additional 10 years of lending and mortgage experience, having served with Truist Bank and Fidelity Mortgage.

Shaquita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and has completed 20 graduate credit hours toward a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Her academic background, combined with her extensive professional experience, has equipped her with leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

She is an active member of the Rust College Association of Education Office Professionals (RCAEOP)and is committed to serving her community through volunteer work with World Overcomers Outreach Ministry in Memphis, Tennessee. Passionate about education, financial empowerment, and community engagement, Shaquita strives to make a meaningful impact through service, professionalism, and lifelong learning.
